I’m a Bavarian girl totally addicted to kitesurfing.
KITEBOARDING
Since I’m born my parents travelled with me around the world to find the perfect wave, the windiest place and the loveliest beaches. I sta
rted with windsurfing at the age of 6 and as I was old enough I stepped into kiteboarding at the age of 13.
With a dad who was a professional windsurfer and one of the pioneers of kiteboarding in Europe in the mid 90’s, I’m always in best company. So kiteboarding has become a big part of my life.
As I was mostly the only girl on the water in the first years, I tried to motivate more girls to start kitesurfing with this article in the magazine Kitelife Issue #6 (Unfortunately it’s in German):
At the moment I’m studying my Masters in Business and Technology at the TU Munich and I try to travel&kite as much as possible during my semester breaks. My focus in kiteboarding is big air and wakestyle and I try to progress my tricks and style with every session. Since several years I’m supported by Core Kites and Carved Customs. So I have the possibility to keep my material always up to date. Personally, I just love my Core Equipment and Carved Board, which enrich every session on the water.
Currently I’m kiting with the Core Kites Section and GTS3 and as Board the Carved Imperator 6.
Recently I got really stoked with kitefoiling as well. It’s not only an amazing feeling like just flying over the water, it also increases my kiting days as I can use also lightwind conditions. So I was very happy as I got the chance to join the Levitaz Team in 2016.
MODELING
Besides ktieboarding, traveling, studying and working I also have sometimes the possibility to do shootings. I started modeling in 2012 – but it was always more for fun than a real job. Most photographers I work with are from Munich and I mostly work based on TFP.
